There's very little fluidity, odd pacing, and heavy inconsistency. Honestly, the stage design looks convoluted and nonsense compared to how Capcom designed their stages, even at X5-X7 standards. However, this also looks like one of those fan games were they are so used to playing through and testing the game by playing a certain way repeatedly, that I'm not sure they considered in the stage design, how the average person would play the game. Makes those Mega Man flash projects that held the torch for polish and presentation look weak in comparison. There was clearly a lot of care put into this project. It's a very impressive looking project otherwise, the intro stage is very flashy (though doesn't make much sense), and the plot (which assume the player knows some of the new characters un introduced) is simple and straight forward. Seems more like the 16-bitified 32-bit X game assets than original assets with pallet-swap 16-bit backgrounds.
